Ikebana studios are all over the world
As ikebana enthusiast I try to make ikebana wherever I go. And wherever I go, goes my ikebana studio with me. Ikebana studio is a space where I can take photos of my ikebanas. It can be anywhere in my room, on a bookshelf, table or on the floor. As all ikebanists who take photos of their works know – the light is the most important element of any photograph. Since I am not a professional photographer, I prefer taking photographs outside. So, on my instagram account @tatjanafelberg you can see photographs taken in front of my house in Norway or in front of any house I stay in.
My ikebana studio is in Addis Abeba at the moment. You can see it on the photo below. I use wooden boxes as tables, and I have a beautiful wall as natural background.

The light changes during the day, so in the morning I have shade and in the afternoon full sun. This changing natural light gives additional beauty to my arrangements.

The following photographs are from my winter outside studio from my home in Norway.
